New positions open at ADVOCAP
Community Services Specialist
ADVOCAP, Inc. is launching a new project to help Winnebago County residents become more self sufficient. ADVOCAP will be hiring 2 part-time (29 hours per week) individuals to be located in our Oshkosh office. Will assist individuals and families in poverty to address immediate needs and to establish and implement a plan for self sufficiency. Will document needs, plans, services provided and outcomes achieved for persons with whom they work. Will identify gaps in community services offered.
Successful applicants will have education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, basic word processing and data entry skills, and direct service experience with low income households. Working knowledge of Winnebago County service systems a plus.

Menasha Rent Smart March 13 and 15
Tenants learn about and practice skills that better prepare them for renting. By learning what’s expected up front, tenants can prepare ahead to demonstrate that they can be a good tenant.
