Foreclosure continues to be a hot topic of conversation both locally and across the state of Wisconsin. UW Extension's "Access to Affordable Housing team" recently sponsored a 60 minute webinar to explore the topic. Speakers include Professor Andy Lewis of UW Extension, Attorney Dan O’Callaghan of Michael Best and Friedrich LLP, and Ariel Kaufman of the Dane County Foreclosure Prevention Task Force (daneforeclosurehelp.org) . Dr. Lewis shares information on the foreclosures trends in Wisconsin. Attorney O'Callaghan provides information on the legal issues surrounding foreclosures, and Ms. Kaufman shares information on the efforts in the Madison area to help stem foreclosure through the work of the Dane County Foreclosure Prevention Taskforce.
