Openings at Fond du Lac Housing Authority

Both the City and County Housing Authority have some 2 bedroom Public Housing units available for rent.  The units are located in the City of Fond du Lac and the Village of North Fond du Lac.  Below is our screening criteria:

Family size – maximum 4 (2 adults and 2 children)

Must be able have water/sewer put in their name

Must be able to have electricity and gas put in their name – Alliant

Must have good landlord references – not simply participated in the Rent Smart Program

Must be able to pass police check – we look at arrest record; cannot rent to any registered sex offenders, etc.

We do a credit check on potential tenants for Public Housing.

Must have an income the allows them the ability to pay rent, etc. so they are not subject to eviction due to non-payment of utilities.

We also have units available to Rosalind Apartments.  Screening criteria is the same:  landlord references, police check, credit check.  These are one bedroom  units.  One of the vacate units is for someone that is physically disabled.  Housing Authority pays all utilities in this property.

We have market rate apartments available at the Calumet Apartments.  Rent is $525 for a one bedroom unit.  Tenant pays for electricity for lights and stove.
